The exhibition in Arte Gallery will present two artwork – two arms, a bronze hand done by artist Ilija Soskic and iron Black Hand – Arm of a killer by Salman Trtovac. Soskic’s work was first shown at the famous Roman gallery “Mario Diacono” and it was titled “The world is rich, individual is poor”, in 1980. Work of Salman Trtovac is actually the cast taken from the hands of a real killer in 1996. The exhibition is accompanied by a bilingual publication with reproductions of the artworks, biographies of artists, art historians texts by Jesa Denegri and Ivana Benovic. A particularly interesting part of the book is a transcript of an interview that Salman Trtovac and Ilija Soskic conducted on the occasion of this joint exhibition.
