Kosta Bradić (1927 – 2014)
Kosta Bradić graduated at The Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade, in the class of professor Nedeljko Gvozdenović in 1954, he also started exhibiting his work at that time. He continued his studies in Rome and Paris, where he got introduced to new artistic directions. He perfected fresco painting in Athens under father Stamatis. With Šejka, who he met during his studies in Belgrade, Glavurtić, Olja Ivanjicki and Milić od Mačve, he was a prominent representative of Mediala, an artistic group founded in 1953 in Belgrade.
Kosta’s style is characterized by the presence of Renaissance details and elements of surrealism.
