Ljubodrag Janković Jale (1932)

Ljubodrag Janković Jale was born in 1932 in Pirot. From 1947 till 1951 he attended the High School of Applied Arts, Department of Printmaking, in the class of Professor Mihailo S. Petrov. Later on, in 1954 he graduated form The Academy of Applied Arts, Department of Painting, in the class of Professor Vinko Grdan.

Till 1968 he undertook various disciplines in the field of applied art. In 1962 he got appointed for a teaching assistant job in the Department of Applied Painting at the Academy of Applied Art in Belgrade, and five years later, he became a docent, and later on he became a Professor . In 1957 he became a member of ULUPUDS and ULUS in 1961.

Among many solo exhibitions, he also participated in a large number of group exhibitions at home and abroad.
