Amnesiator is made in Dusan Otasevic recognizable manner from the sixties, when he was one of the first representatives of Belgrade New figuration making funny critical – ironic objects. It is not devoid of distinctive engagement and in this respect it could be observed as summing up of earlier engaged tendencies. A device that deletes memory of a people, the population of a country whose air is constantly contaminated by unfavorable social and political conditions, with the help of humor is exempt from bitterness and negativity.
