Creativity of Sasa Pancic among the current art events is specific and unusual. As such it is difficult to include it in some of the existing and defined directions and trends. Knowledge of art history, a tendency towards theoretical background of his own work and references to certain historical avant-garde movements and artists have made Sasa Pancic a distinctive artist with a very distinctive poetics. Dealing with the formal elements of a work of art – line, surface, relations between dark and bright, symmetry, relation between vertical and horizontal, as well as material and space if it comes to sculpture, admitted him into a grop of artists who, in one way or another , were tied to constructivism, minimalism and geometric abstraction.
